Software Engineers, High Performance Switching Fabric Specialist

Lyatiss is seeking experienced software engineers to be part of our Cloud/SDN expert team for building innovative products and solutions. These new solutions leverage Lyatiss’ proven expertise in dynamic infrastructure management, networking and virtualization. You will be part of a fast paced and tightly knit team which prides in its vision, innovative skills and ability to deliver high quality solutions in short time spans.
The position is based in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop features that enable integration and interoperability of Lyatiss’ CloudWeaver solution with leading network providers solutions (Cisco Nexus, Juniper QFX, …).
  • Collaborate with fabric vendor engineering team for testing, promoting and ensuring tight integration.
  • Troubleshoot complex customer issues that require a deep understanding of systems and networking software.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD in CS or EE.
  • Five plus years in developing platform/fabric software for networking products (L2/L3).
  • Experience in Embedded Software Development and Software Development for multi-­‐chassis platforms.
  • Strong programming skills and good understanding of operating system, distributed systems, virtualization and Cloud concepts.
  • Familiarity with data center performance, high-­‐performance computing systems, and large-­‐scale cloud providers operations.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable: control, management, knowledge plane products and protocols, fault management and HA, security, load balancing, traffic engineering, traffic monitoring, device drivers.
